What a day...

Waking up at 5am is never easy but yesterday I woke up feeling like a child on Christmas morning.  Very kindly dropped at the station by JS whilst everyone was still sleeping and supplied with a flask of piping hot tea, wriggly worms and carrot batons, I was well equipped to take on what would be the first of a 6 part train journey to visit a weaving mill I hoped could help produce my fabric.

It was an adventure and I felt thoroughly lucky to see inside such an amazing place. The possibilities are enormous and I'm just so delighted that I have found a company in England who are willing to help me. Thanks to everyone I met yesterday. Totally worth getting up at 5am for!

Albion & Boundary illustration installation.

I am happy to put up a few pictures of the illustration project I did for Prescott & Conran. This has been a few months in the making so I was delighted to pack my bags with wood, paints, spray cans and brushes and make my way down to East London's, Rechurch Street, where I installed and painted new signs. It was a great day, fuelled by delicious coffee from Albion and with encouragement from the many people that I encountered on the day, it was a great start to the Christmas holidays. Many thanks to Virginijus for his help with the tasks requiring strength and for all at Albion and Boundary for making me feel welcome.
